How it works
It's really easy to work with me
1. Use my contact form and let me know how I can help. I aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.
2. I’ll then request a brief. You can submit one of your own or fill in the template provided. I’m able to help here if needed.
3. Within two working days, I’ll send you a quote. This is based on the information in the brief and how long I expect the work to take.
4. Once we agree on the quote and a timescale for completion, I can get to work.
FAQs
Got a question about how my service works? Well I'm here to answer to it.

Copywriters take your ideas and turn them into crisp, concise, engaging text for either websites or printed publications. Many work freelance, but copywriters also work in-house at established brands and businesses all over the world.
And why do you need one? Because a copywriter creates copy that sells. Copy that gets you noticed, whether in person or in terms of those all-important search engine rankings!
Yes. When I send through your quote, there will a contract for you to sign. This must be signed before any work begins. The Terms and Conditions of all my copywriting commissions are available to view here.
This is difficult to answer with a one-size-fits-all response. Basically, the cost of my copywriting service depends entirely on the work you want me to complete. I always charge ‘by the project’, so any quote includes time built in for planning, research, or third-party interviews.
But I also know that different businesses have different budgets to spend. So to give you a ballpark figure, my charges usually work out at around £175 per day. I’m also happy to discuss working with clients on a monthly retainer, so just ask!
The only fixed price I charge is a monthly subscription to my blog writing service, which is £300 for 4 blog posts of up to 1,000 words each. (Note: there is room for negotiation if you wanted longer posts or more posts per month)
I believe that I am competitively priced when it comes to providing a quality copywriting service. And don’t forget, because I’m a one-man-band (with laptop, notepad and pen), you are only paying for my time and expertise. Nothing more.
Freelance copywriters often have different payment terms depending on how much a particular project costs. And some use different payment structures depending on how long a project takes.
But I like to keep things simple. So there are only 2 pay structures that you need to know about!
- If you are a first-time client, I require 40% of the fee for any project upfront, paid by bank transfer. The other 60% is then invoiced on completion of the work.
- For second-time clients (or hopefully a number far beyond that!), I require a 25% upfront fee, paid by bank transfer. The remaining 75% is then invoiced on completion of the work.
If you choose to subscribe to my blog writing service or wish to hire me on a monthly retainer, then this is payable on a same-day-of-the-month basis by bank transfer.
All final payments for completed work must be made within 14 days of me sending it to you.
Naturally, I want you to be 100% satisfied with any work I complete. I always aim to get things right first time. And let’s be honest, that works best for both of us!
But I also know that you may want to make a few changes. So upon receipt of the first draft, you have up to 7 days to request any changes in writing. All my project quotes include up to two additional revisions, so there is space built in to make changes within your agreed fee.
