Hello there! I’m James, an accredited copywriter based in Coventry (the famous ‘city of three spires’).
All my life, I have loved words. I love the way they tell stories. I love the way they so easily capture our attention. And my 10+ years of experience in the copywriting, education, administrative and customer service sectors – alongside recently finishing a PhD in English Literature – means I really have learnt how words can be made to work in a variety of situations.
Many people think that great copywriting is a science. For some, it’s an art. Well I happen to think it’s both. Yes, there’s science behind creating copy that sells: getting to know the competition, understanding an audience, using data to improve search engine rankings. But without that dash of creativity and a splash of old-fashioned artistic intuition, copy can become very boring, very quickly.
